N'weti's Strategic Plan (2021-2025) details a series of interventions aimed at promoting health, strengthening health systems and influencing public policies, monitoring and delivering health services, as well as building the capacity of local implementing partners, with the aim of contributing to equitable and universal access to quality health services for all Mozambicans.
In 2023, as part of its annual report, N'weti stood out as an agent of transformation in communities in all of Mozambique’s provinces, driving significant change through a multidisciplinary team of community health workers. This team, made up of facilitators, activists, mentors, supervisors, and health professionals, plays a crucial role in identifying changes and intended changes in the lives of the beneficiaries of the interventions.
The main purpose of documenting the stories of change in this booklet is to disseminate the results of our interventions and highlight the qualitative transformations in people’s lives, especially regarding access to family planning services, STI/HIV/AIDS prevention, including mitigating the impact in families and Orphan and Vulnerable Children (OVC), and addressing cases of gender-based violence.
