The project implements a comprehensive, synergistic and people-centered approach that integrates social mobilization and social action to capture health services. The project started in FY 2019, focused on counseling and testing based on the index case approach, linkage and retention in care and treatment in five districts, DREAMS and OVC program, implemented in Gaza and Zambezia provinces, a total of 22 districts, and with 15 grants in FY 2022.
Objectives : The overall objective is to reduce the risk of HIV transmission and improve health outcomes for people and families affected by HIV in Zambezia and Gaza province by increasing coverage of high impact, evidence-based community HIV services.
